QUESTIONS ABOUT ORDER PLACEMENT
1.
Do you offer custom sized and styled cafe doors?
Yes, we can custom make louvered or solid wood cafe door sets.
Simply call us for a price quote. We will need to know what your finished door opening measurement is, what height you want your door to be
and what wood species you are interested in.
2.
How do I know what café door size to order?
We offer
the three most common door sizes: 30, 32
or 36 inch widths.
All of our
café doors are prefit which means they are specifically made for the finished
door opening they are sized for all while taking in space allowances for hinge
installation and a center gap between the panels to allow for proper panel
swing.
Therefore,
if your finished door width measures 32 inches, then you would order the 32
inch café door set.

My door opening is slightly smaller than the door sizes you
offer. What are my options?
First,
please contact us with your specific finished door opening measurement so we
can discuss the options with you.
However, in general, you have the following option:
With the
louvered door sets only, up to ½ inch can be trimmed off the right and left
vertical stiles or edges of the panels.
This will allow you a 2 inch variation between your door opening and our
door sizes available.
Please
note that while trimming the max of ½ inch off the vertical stiles does not
affect the structural integrity of the café door, it will expose the inner wood
dowels. This will only be visible if the
panels are stained instead of painted and only when held in the opened position.
If you do not have the know-how or tools to trim the
panels yourself, we offer a “trim service” for an additional $35 charge. Please contact us for details.

My door opening is slightly larger than the door sizes you
offer. What are my options?
First,
please contact us with your specific finished door opening measurement so we
can discuss the options with you.
However, in general, you have the following option:
Decorative
wood trim pieces or spacers can be installed to the necessary thickness under
each hinge to take up the extra space.
For example, if your finished door opening is 37 inches, you would
install ½ inch thick spacers under each hinge and install the 36 inc door set on top of the spacers.
5.
My door opening is quite a bit larger than the door sizes you
offer. What are my options?
First,
please contact us with your specific finished door opening measurement so we
can discuss the options with you.
However, in general, you have the following option:
You can
install or have a carpenter install a pillar-like appearance against your door
jambs to the necessary thickness to take up the large extra gap by installing
1x’s in graduating smaller widths.
For
example, if your finished door opening is 42 inches, you would fist install a
1x4 against the right and left door jambs.
Then centered on top of the 1x4, you would install a 1x3; then centered
on top of the 1x3, you would install a 1x2.
Now you install the hinges directly on top of the 1x2 using extra long
screws that will reach well into your original door jamb and hang your café
door.
6.
I’m ordering several café doors with a weight over 75 pounds. How do I place this order?
Our
website payment processor can only accept online orders weighing less than 75
pounds. However, we can take any sized

QUESTIONS ABOUT PAYMENTS
1.
I don’t have and don’t want to open a PayPal account. Can I still pay by credit card?
Absolutely! However, we still will use PayPal as our
payment processor. Here how to make a
payment using our PayPal processor without a PayPal account:
Once you
have finished adding items to your cart and are ready to make your payment,
click on the “Proceed to Checkout” button.
On this page PayPal users can log into their account to proceed with
their payments or you can make a non-PayPal payment with your credit card.
Look for
the credit card logos located at the lower left corner of this page. You will see the statement, “Don’t have a
PayPal account? Use your credit card or
bank account (where available).” Click
on the blue “Continue” button adjacent to this statement.
Along the
left side of this page you can proceed with your credit card payment by filling
in all the required fields (again you will see on the right hand side a log-in
section for PayPal users, simply ignore).
When all fields are complete, click on “Review Order
and Continue”.

I don’t like making credit card payments through websites. Can I pay over the phone?
We
purposefully chose PayPal as our payment processor due to its well known
privacy and security on the web.
However, should you feel more comfortable making your payment over the

QUESTIONS ABOUT SHIPPING
1.
When will I receive my order?
All
“Standard” louvered café door sets will ship within 3-7 business days of
receiving payment. All other café door
orders ship within 10-14 business days of payment. Business days are Monday-Friday.
All US orders are shipped using the USPS (Post Office) Priority Mail service with an
unguaranteed delivery time of 2-3 business days.
Please notify us immediately after placing your order if you do not
receive USPS (Post Office) mail delivery to your location so an alternate shipping method can be arranged.
International orders are shipped via USPS (United States Postal Service)
International Priority Mail service with an unguaranteed delivery time of 10-14
business days. IMPORTANT: Once the package is in your country, your local mail carrier system
is responsible for the final delivery to your address; any tracking questions must be
addressed with them (not us) by using the provided USPS tracking number. Any customs or duty charges you may incur
are additional and not our responsibility to pay. Please note: customs may require you pick your package up
rather than it being delived directly to your address - this occurance is rare, not by our doing and is completely out of our control.

Will I be able to track my shipment?
Yes. When your order ships, you will receive an
email from us through PayPal notifying you of shipment. This email will also contain a USPS tracking
number that can be used at www.USPS.com/
Please note, the USPS tracking information is extremely limited but
please track your package yourself prior to inquiring with us about the status of your
shipment.
QUESTIONS ABOUT RETURNS OR EXCHANGES
1.
How do I return or exchange my order?
Your
business and complete satisfaction is extremely important to us. If for any reason you are not satisfied with
your order you may return your order for a full refund on the purchase price of
your item or request an exchange to your order within 14 days of receipt of
your order. Please read our policy below
for more details and requirements for processing returns and exchanges:
Without
exception, our café doors can only be returned for a refund or exchange if they
are in their original, unfinished, uninstalled, unmarked and undamaged
condition. If for any reason you wish
to return your order within 14 days of its receipt, please contact us by phone
or email immediately to discuss your return or exchange. Your order must be returned with any and all
related parts also in their original, undamaged condition and in their original
and unopened packaging when applicable.
You MUST ship our café doors back to us fully insured as we WILL NOT
process refunds or exchanges if we receive our café door back in a condition
damaged from by your shipping carrier.
All shipping charges and transaction fees associated with a return or exchange remains your
responsibility, unless we made an error to your order. Payments made by a credit card or with a personal PayPal account will
be refunded through PayPal only. You will receive an email from PayPal that will contain simple insructions on
how to obtain your refund.
